What we collect

Sly - Banter may process your speech transcript, selected coaching goal, drill context, timing and delivery signals, app settings, purchase status, and limited device security information.

Voice and coaching

Your microphone is used only when you start a drill. Raw recordings are not uploaded to our coaching servers. Speech may be transcribed by Apple’s speech recognition services; the resulting transcript and limited drill context are sent securely to our service to generate Sly’s feedback.

Purchases

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple. We receive signed StoreKit transaction information and use Apple App Attest signals to validate access and reduce fraud. We do not receive your full payment card details.

How we use information

We use information to provide coaching, restore purchases, secure the service, troubleshoot failures, and improve product quality. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

Raw recordings are treated as ephemeral. Other service data is retained only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the product or meet legal obligations. Contact us to request access or deletion.
